Annick Staindl is a London-based, Australian photographer working predominately in black and white film photography. Her work focuses on the human body in all its shapes and forms, and across continents. The fallible yet exploratory nature of film development in the darkroom reflects her curiosity of imperfection. From the image's conception, to the spotting of each print, her process allows for every photograph to be unique in its own way.
She currently uses a Nikon F3, with Ilford HP5 Plus black and white film.
